Hey, has anyone had anything unusual happen. I don't know what else to call it except "super power".

Maybe someone has a better word.

Yesterday I made some spaghetti in a pot with the kind of handle that gets very hot. You absolutely have to use a glove or something to touch the handle.

I was thinking about something cosmic and so wasn't focusing on what I was doing. While my mind was preoccupied, I picked up the pot by the handle.... turned around to drain the water in the sink....drained the water into a colander.

Half way done I realized what I was doing.

I was holding the pot by the handle and the handle just felt warm. I was stunned but kept holding the pot by the handle....

I said "What the hell!!!"...and waited for that hot ass pain I know very well...Nope. No pain..I was so excited actually.

FYI. I hate using this particular pot because the handle gets so damn hot and I KNOW not to it touch it bare handed.

This all took about 30 seconds from beginning to end. Thats a long time to be holding a hot hot hot handle.

I was stunned and excited at the same time. Wow..I am paying attention to other things happening for sure..

Does anyone have anything stories to share?

I am so curious.
