There are REAL spell books, just like in Harry Potter but mostly all are locked away in the Vatican & many of them burned or many of them were buried during the mud flood. You see? just as we practice any sport today, football, basketball, Tennis etc 300 years ago and earlier many of us practiced spells just as hard.
