I love my locs when I rocked my natural ether I loved that to but one thing I hated was perms I could literally feels the chemicals burning throughout my head when I was little I ask my mom why she started perming my hair she said because it was too thick in it was alot to take care off

Eye feel you both. I’m just starting out with my locs. My hair stylist had to do African twist to help my hair loc due to texture of my hair. I’m loving it! I haven’t used perms for some years now. Last year I stop using the blow dryer to dry my hair and sat in the sun.
